Bram de Winter (1955) formed himself in the visual arts with as specialization; surrealist paintings. He does not allow himself to be inhibited by existing conventions and is always looking for new possibilities with his paintings or glass art. You can see this, for example, in the mixed-media technique he applies to his paintings that do traditionally appear in oil on linen. But after 2000, most have small additions of another material incorporated into the composition.... and even holes in the canvas.

Patrick van der Linde (1972) received his father's painting box at the age of thirteen. From that moment on, oil paint has been the medium for his ideas. A randomly cut out picture of "Simeon, theSaint of the Pillars" by Carel Willink came to hang above his bed; His love for Magic Realism and later Surrealism was born. Training as an illustrator at the Grafisch Lyceum Amsterdam, Van der Linde chose the safe path. After graduation, he focused on two things: traveling and painting.
Redmer Hoekstra (1982) graduated from the art academy in Zwolle in 2009 as a visual artist and illustrator. As a child he was a daydreamer and had all kinds of theories about how the world was put together. He was able to rediscover this at the academy and incorporate it into his drawing. He finds much inspiration in philosophizing about reality, about how things work, the movement of an animal or thing. His associative brain often makes links between different forms and this produces very strange and fascinating combinations.
Rob van Klaveren is an auto-didactic magic realistic painter in addition to being a lung specialist. In the exhibition "Realism and Beyond" he will show, besides some smaller realistic still lifes, mainly medium-sized magical realistic works in oil paint made in the last 10 years. In doing so, he opens a window to the world that lives within him: imaginative, carefully constructed and steeped in symbolism. His work strongly expresses a fascination with detail, light and atmosphere. Themes such as time, the decay of nature, music and current events recur in many works.
Margreet Blaas is a visual artist and painter. For her, art is a form of love: a way to reconnect people with their souls and with that which cannot always be explained. In her paintings she invites the viewer to look differently and to experience that reality has more layers than the visible alone. She works within realism and magical realism and uses painting as a bridge between worlds. Her work is a counterpoint to an exclusively rational approach to reality and invites you to look with your heart and soul.
Wil van Gemert is a fine painter who focuses mainly on still lifes in oil paint. About 25 years ago she discovered oil painting. After several years of evening classes, she took several workshops and master classes with different artists to further deepen her technique. Her work is characterized by rich colors, great precision and attention to detail. She is inspired by the beauty of everyday objects, often with a subtle hint of nostalgia.
