Excursion Water birds on the Logt (Kampina)
The Kampina is best known for its moorland landscape with its fens, fragrant gale thickets and forests. But also the stream valleys of the Rosep and Beerze belong in the Kampina. The forester takes you to the stream valley of the Beerze, a unique piece of nature, where the plants and animals depend on sufficient and clean water in the stream and soil. Thanks to the project Natte Natuurparel Kampina Zuidoost of Waterschap de Dommel in cooperation with Natuurmonumenten and the Province of Noord-Brabant, there is again a future for this wet natural pearl. Are the results of this intervention already visible in the landscape?
