Solo exhibition Mari Mészáros

The work of Mari Mészáros (1949) is characterized by a profound interest in man and his traces in time. She works a lot with plaster casts of human bodies, hands and faces. These fragments are then translated into glass, through which she creates a poetic interplay between vulnerability and strength, between memory and presence. The transparency and fragility of glass reinforce this tension and give the sculptures an almost archaeological quality, as if they were finds that bear witness to a universal human experience.

The oeuvre of Mari Mészáros is internationally recognized and is included in various public and private collections. Her work is regularly shown in museums and at international glass exhibitions.
