Music: Aznavour, Frank Cools and Florian De Schepper

Two people on stage. A singer (a very good one!) and a guitarist (a fantastic one!). That's all it takes to make that wonderful repertoire of Charles Aznavour sparkle and shine: La bohème, Hier encore, For me formidable, Emmenez-moi. And, of course, She and La mama and so much more.

In 2024, Le Grand Charles would have turned 100. Because he can't do it anymore and they can't resist, Frank Cools and Florian de Schepper now bring this warm and intimate tribute to Aznavour. A delightful theater concert full of recognition and surprise, also because Cools tells the story in a disarming way. And the audience listens breathlessly.

One guitar and one voice: the songs of Aznavour in their purest form!

The Flemish Frank Cools stood as an actor and singer in almost every theater in Flanders and the Netherlands. He sang both chanson and smartlap, made many youth performances and as an actor often stood solo on stage with classical texts. With few means, he knows how to get to the essence.

Florian De Schepperis classical guitarist, but sees himself more as a chameleon; a traveling troubadour who can swing in folk and different styles like no other.
