On the road with children: OERRR Braakballen pluizen in Oisterwijk 4 t/m 7 jaar

Vomit balls are dry, fluffy pellets that come from owls. If you pick them apart with tweezers and look at them with a magnifying glass, you can see what owls eat. For example, you can see the bones of birds or frogs. Or you might come across shields from beetles or the hairs of mice.

Compare the bones on a search card
How do you discover which bone belongs to which animal? Everyone gets a search card on which all the bones are depicted. That way you can discover what the owl really ate.

In addition to picking pellets, we'll also look at where owls live and look for food. And where does an owl actually spit out its ball?
