Are you ready for the best party of the year? On Saturday, February 14, carnival starts with the children's parade of Döllekesgat! From 11:11 a.m. you are welcome at the Fire Department to come decorate your bike, scooter, wagon or other cart. The stuff is waiting for you: glitter, garlands, balloons and much more to make your creation shine. Have you already tinkered with a cart or decorated your bike at home? Then you may also come straight to the starting area.
We gather at 12:11 pm at the Hoogstraat near number 25 and the parade starts at 12:41 pm. Registration is not required, but you will be assured of a fun goodie bag full of surprises!

The parade ends at the Raadhuis, where we all raise the traditional Dol. The moment where carnival really begins. So put on your fancy dresses, bring your friends and be there at the Children's Parade of Döllekesgat - the happy kickoff of carnival!
