TextielMuseum
The TextielMuseum Tilburg was opened in 1958 in a former manufacturers' villa in Tilburg. Since 1985 it has been housed in the former textile factory of the company C. Mommers & Co. once one of the largest employers in Tilburg. In 2008, the museum reopened after a thorough renovation of the museum and the construction of a new multifunctional entrance building.
TextielLab
The TextielMuseum is also a creative enterprise. In the TextielLab you can see craftsmen at work every day, together with students, designers and artists. This special collaboration leads to surprising design products, new techniques and works of art. All made of textile, of course. As a visitor, you witness the entire process, from sketch to final product.

Combined with the new architecture, the old buildings create a stimulating whole, where the city's past and present meet. Just like the visitors, students and designers. Meeting each other and exchanging experiences is greatly stimulated here. In the TextielCafé, the Foyer or the TextielShop. And then there are the open TextielAteliers full of small creative businesses.
